Just went to update my 'About' page, posted the new one and my 'IGear' security connection timed out. Couldn't figure out how to recover the work - 'back' button didn't do it, had to start again.
IMPORTANT LESSON LEARNED (EARLY ON)! - SAVE WORK OFTEN!
It can be difficult from in school, when the connection 'times out' after 20 minutes. As Graham Davidson commented on your last post, copying and pasting from another application will get around this issue at the moment.
Can you tell us what you teach Drew? How do you uuse ICT?
I have this problem a lot when posting
comments etc with pupils. I try to
get them to highlight and copy their
comments before they hit submit, then if
they lose their comments they can just paste
it rather than retyping.
